Do You Mix Your Temp-tations Pieces In with Your Regular Dinnerware?

In someone else's thread I mentioned that I love to mix dishes this way. My every day dishes are a plain, pure white pattern in Corelle, which is the tempered glass dinnerware originally made by Corning Ware. I love Corelle. The thin, opaque glass glistens, and they can make it thinner than stoneware, so it is quite light and easy to stack, etc.

"Winter Frost White" is a fun retro "Mad Men" look, but the sizes of the salad plates are a little off, and the bowls are too small, etc. So I get the white pattern they make that has elegant fluted edges-- it's called "Enhancements" most of the time. Hideous name.

Anyway, I've found that my Old World Blue looks super mixed in with this white dinnerware, since OW Blue has a whitish or bluish white background. I have some OW ramekins in this that can double as bowls in my place settings, and I'll mix in the OW owl dessert plates or use them as salad plates in a place setting.

They all look great with cobalt or Dutch blue place mats and accessories.

How have you integrated your Temp-tations into your daily dinnerware? Do you use the mugs with your non-Temp-tations place settings? This topic is probably too specialized to be of interest to others, but I would so enjoy hearing about your creativity. Call me a nerd-- table stuff fascinates me!
